The falcon used generator through 1964 if you
have removed the wires or replaced the generator, brushes, and voltage regulator
you. May need to polarize the units here is how it's done. If you just replaced
the generator you need to polarize the unit. Here's how to do it.
Thus the correct polarization is to run a wire from the battery to the F terminal on the
generator (you just scratch the wire across the terminal, you'll see a small flash, that gets the
current flowing in the right direction and polarizes the fields correctly): The generator will have two terminals, a G (ground, it's just an extra ground, it goes to the internal ground in the generator) and F, which of course stands for Field; that F terminal is the one you want.
You might need to do this to the regulator.
